(LOL) I know my title is probably confusing, Let Me Explain. A couple of months ago, some of my friends and I decided to be more diligent and disciplined in maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle and of course Lose Weight. Most people usually try to lose weight when summer is approaching especially women so they can look good in their bikinis but we actually challenged ourselves after summer was over and Fall or should I say Winter (we’re in Texas) was fast approaching.

So, instead of saying Summer Body, it became the Winter Body Challenge for us. The idea is to give ourselves time to do the work required to change our lifestyle in a healthy way, so by Spring/Summer we can have the body we want instead of waiting last minute and doing a crash diet.

Our goal is to lose a certain amount of weight, drop a couple of dress size and most especially be proactive in sculpting our body into the shape we want so we’d fit into our old clothes better and be more comfortable in our skin.  I’ll keep you all updated on my progress as the months go by, but I have already lost 7lbs and my dress size is now a 10.

I’m not a fitness expert, I’m not a physical trainer or a coach but I’m a Nurse Practitioner so I understand Health and most importantly I’m a Woman who has struggled with her weight since she was 13. So stay tuned as I chronicle my journey (this is going to be interesting).
